Schachle Benefit Services, Inc. specializes in retirement plan compliance and recordkeeping as well as reporting and disclosure requirements of the Internal Revenue Service, Department of Labor and Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation. We discuss objectives and goals in setting up a plan. We then make recommendations as to the type of plan and, more specifically, the plan provisions needed to accomplish these goals. Most often these goals can be accomplished using our prototype documents sponsored by Schachle Benefit Services, Inc.
For existing plans, we review the document to be sure that it is in compliance with current IRS regulations. If necessary we will amend and restate the document to better meet goals and objectives. We proactively address issues often overlooked for small to mid-sized companies such as controlled groups, top heavy and nondiscrimination testing.
